FungiCare seeks to enable projects and educational initiatives by providing support through auspicing and project staff.
Work collaboratively with people, government, agencies, not-for-profits and other enterprises to empower local people to be able to understand and engage with fungi and other cryptogams in Australia.
FungiCare aims to support projects and educational initiatives that are guided by scientific principles but grounded in practical applications.
FungiCare Aims:
To work together to gather, hold, and make available funds to enable projects concerning fungi and other cryptogams (including slime moulds, lichens, bryophytes, algae, biocrusts and other similar life forms) that are in keeping with our aims.
Such as:
- environmental restoration & conservation;
- scientific research;
- improvements in cryptogam-based technologies;
- improvements in the sustainability of fungi-based industries.
